Mutant Radio Pavillon feat. AWWWARA

 

AWWWARA is a georgian Musical group and record label, which sources ideas for modern music from Georgian (as well as Caucasian) instruments and folklore. Their first album was released last year on digital platforms and CD and was composed by Georgian artists Giorgi Koberidze and Luka Nakashidze who also are main members of the group.


Mutant Radio

Mutant Radio is a Community media platform that focuses on various directions: mixes, interviews, educational shows, live performances and discussion broadcasts that are either live-streamed or filmed and streamed later on. It gathers various artists, DJs, music communities and personalities that have an opportunity to focus on the subject of their preference and their interest.

The radio has over local and international more than 90 regular residents, local and international and at least more than 50 guests on a weekly basis. Over the last year, Mutant Radio has collaborated with various international and local entities, such as different art collectives, musical labels, record stores, festivals, educational and cultural spaces, and artists.

What is unique about Mutant Radio is that it is mobile. The physical station is a fully-equipped caravan-wagon that is based in Tbilisi yet also streams from other regions and special locations around Georgia. Apart from the live streams, Mutant Radio also has an open-air bar, where like-minded people have an opportunity to enjoy quality music and a friendly vibe. The wagon is located at an old electro station and is surrounded by cultural heritage buildings, where the radio holds physical event.
