Together with 70 students, the ./studio3, Institute for Experimental Architecture at the University of Innsbruck, is realising a walk-in audio installation for the Heart of Noise Festival that combines sculpture, sound and space. Autonomous sound sculptures are placed in relation to each other and form a landscape in which different objects and materials take on new meanings and seek connections to each other. Moving, rustling, squeaking, rolling, throbbing objects form a soundscape that moves between chaotic and organic, random and controlled states. Seemingly primitive sounds are playfully produced, which in sum create a complex soundscape.
