Anthony Sahyoun

 

Anthony Sahyoun otherwise known as Mme Chandelier is a Lebanese composer, musician, and programmer. His main field of work is electronic processing of acoustic elements, programming and experimental music. He co-founded the Lebanese experimental ensemble Kinematik in 2015 with whom he’s produced 3 records and he released his sophomore solo record “Proof by Infinite Descent” in November 2021 with Beacon Sound and Ruptured (OR/LB). Anthony has performed with Hans Joachim Irmler from the German legendary Krautrock band FAUST, Fadi Tabbal, Jad Atoui, Sari Moussa, Charbel Haber, Ziad Moukarzel, Youmna Saba, Sharif Sehnaoui, and Bana Haffar. He’s also a part of Tunefork Studios since 2018, renowned Lebanese studio and sound-space where he works as a producer and mixing engineer. He also scores music for film and has composed sound for various installations such as Lamia Joreige’s “Description of a monument” (2018) and directed (with Aia Atoui) “Shabah Al Rih” (2020).
